Guiding Question: How do we make parents true partners in their student's growth?

Successes: Established a recurring parent sync cadence and built the foundation for parents to participate more fully in our program.

Work To Do: Drive consistency of the 6-week sync across all coaches and find ways to integrate parents more deeply into our work.

Guiding Question: How do we graduate students who are ready while retaining those who are not?

Successes: Significant NPS increase, with improved retention and student success. At least 200 reenrollments.

Work To Do: Reduce churn overall, with 243 total students leaving last year. Establish a clear line between "ready to graduate" and "at-risk," plus early-warning indicators.

Guiding Question: How does our approach meet every student where they are and move them forward?

Successes: The Frontiers study validated the model, and we formalized REP into enrollment packets and Coaching the Coaches training.

Work To Do: Improve coach training to strengthen relationship development and enable coaches to personalize the program for each student.

Guiding Question: How do we hold every coach to a great standard?

Successes: Reframed coaching around early quick wins and held our coaches to a higher standard.

Work To Do: Define "great" with objective criteria and continue to raise our expectations of coaches.

What Is Changing: We are formalizing how we develop our coaches so every student gets the same high standard of support.

Why It Matters: Leadership and coordinators are going through this training first, learning how to train our coaches and help them grow.

What the Team Should Know: From there, they deepen each coach's ability to build relationships, teach executive function, and personalize the work for every student.

What Is Changing: Historically there has been little differentiation between our post-secondary and 6-12 programs, even though the needs of these students are very different.

Why It Matters: College students need support that reflects the realities of independent adult life.

What the Team Should Know: We are reshaping the post-secondary program to meet college students where they actually are, with greater focus on emotional regulation, helping students find jobs and internships, and building the skills to balance competing demands.

What Is Changing: We hear it constantly: parents want support too.

Why It Matters: We do great work with students, but when parents understand best practices, how to regulate their own nervous system, and how their child's brain actually works, the impact of coaching multiplies.

What the Team Should Know: We are developing parent group offerings designed to bring families into the process. More to come on what this looks like.

What Is Changing: The goal is that every student leaves Untapped with a deep understanding of their own brain and a set of strategies personalized to how they work best.

Why It Matters: Students should understand what engages them, what derails them, and the conditions where they perform at their highest level.

What the Team Should Know: The concept was conceived by Bill Dodson, a leading voice on the interest-based nervous system, who granted us permission to bring it to our students.
